<h1>第二课时 Section A(Grammar Focus-3c)</h1><p> Teaching Goals 【教学目标】</p><p> Key words:</p><p> college,education,medicine,university,London,article,send</p><p> Key sentences:</p><p> 1.What do you want to be when you grow up?I want to be an engineer.</p><p> 2.How are you going to do that?I'm going to study math really hard.</p><p> Teaching Key Points 【教学重点】</p><p> Target language:</p><p> What do you want to be when you grow up?I want to be a reporter.How are you going to do that?I'm going to write articles and send them to magazines and newspapers.Where are you going to work?I'm going to move to Shanghai.When are you going to start?I'm going to start when I finish high school and college.</p><p> Teaching Difficult Points 【教学难点】</p><p> 1.Make sentences with “be going to”.</p><p> 2.Use the target language to talk about your and the others' dream jobs in the future.</p><p> Teaching Steps 【教学过程】</p><p>★Step 1 Leading in</p><p>1.Greetings.</p><p>2.Check the homework by asking a pair of students to role-play the conversation in 2d on Page 42.</p><p>3.Have Ss make sentences with“be going to”.</p><p>★Step 2 Pre-task</p><p>Page 43,Grammar Focus.</p><p>Ask the students to read the sentences in the grammar box and sum up the sentence structure.Say,Now read aloud the sentences in the grammar box.Then write down the sentence structure “be going to”in your exercise books.</p><p>★Step 3 While-task</p><p>Page 43,3a & 3b.</p><p>1.Read the instructions to students.Make them know the task in 3a.Say,I'd like you to complete the match work in 3a on your own.You'll have five minutes to do it.</p><p>2.After 5 minutes,choose one to present his or her answers.</p><p>3.Check the answers with Ss.(If the student did a good job,praise him or her.)</p><p>4.Call students' attention to the conversation in 3b.Say,There is a conversation with some blanks in 3b.First,look through the content and make sure you know what they are talking about.Next,finish the blanks individually.</p><p>5.Choose one student to give the answers.</p><p>6.Check the answers.</p><p>7.Ss work in pairs to practice the conversation.</p><p>★Step 4 Post-task</p><p>Page 43,3c.</p><p>1.Point out the sample conversation in the box.Ask two Ss to read it to the class.</p><p>2.Ss complete the chart.Write down the results.</p><p>3.Ss work in pairs.Discuss it with the partner according to the sample conversation and what you wrote down just now.</p><p>4.Encourage some pairs to present their conversations to the class in the front of classroom.Give them a few minutes to prepare.Then choose one or two pairs to show us.Praise them.</p><p>★Step 5 Homework</p><p>1.Practice reading the sentences in grammar box.</p><p>2.Do the exercises on Page 39 in students' book.</p><p> Teaching Reflection 【 教学反思 平行与垂直的教学反思班会课教学反思分数的初步认识教学反思科学我从哪里来教学反思平行与垂直教学反思 】</p><p>   In this period,we will lead students to learn the grammar focus in different ways—reading,discussion,question and answer,dialogue display,group introduction,etc.,and combine the tasks of listening,speaking,reading and writing,which not only exercises students' language application ability,but also consolidates students' learning and memorization of the target language.At the same time,we can ask the students to make some sentences by using the grammar they have learned.In this way,they may practice the tense and the “be going to” structure.</p>
