Master some important words and phrases.</p> <p>2. 掌握大数字的表达和比较级的应用。</p> <p>3. 培养听说能力。</p> <h5>教学难点</h5> <p>能利用大数字和比较级、最高级对大自然进行描述。</p> <h5>教法导航</h5> <p>鼓励学生多说，培养他们的合作意识。</p> <h5>学法导航</h5> <p>多听积极参与。</p> <h5>教学准备</h5> <p>录音机、磁带、图片、多媒体。</p> <h5>教学过程</h5> <p>Step 1 Greetings</p> <p>   Greet the students as usual.</p> <p>   Step 2 Lead in</p> <p>   Write the numbers in 1a on the blackboard and then read.</p> <p>   The students read after the teacher.</p> <p>   Ask：What do you know about this number，8,844,43?  </p> <p>   以这种方式让学生说出珠穆朗玛。</p> <p>   Then the students look at the picture and say the names of the four places.</p> <p>   Then the teacher makes a brief introduction about the four places and show some pictures on the screen to arouse the students’ interest.</p> <p>Step 3 1a-1c</p> <p>Let the students finish the task in 1a and check the answers.</p> <p>Then let the students go through the sentences in 1b and make predictions about the blanks.</p> <p>Then play the tape for the first time and fill in the blanks. </p> <p>Play the tape for the second time .(提醒学生注意比较级和最高级配合使用的结构)</p> <p>Work on 1c let them practice the conversation in pairs. </p> <p>The teacher shows the following question：</p> <p>What do you know about these places? (引导学生将1a和1b中的关于同一个地方的信息连在一起说出来) 教师示范如下：</p> <p>Qomolangma is higher than any other mountain in the world. It is 8，844，43 meters high.</p> <p>然后讲解表示度量的结构（…high，…deep，…long，…in size）</p> <p>Step 4 Game</p> <p>Show some numbers on the screen and let the students read them out .(或者读一些数字然后让学生写出来)</p> <p>Step 5 2a-2d </p> <p>Show the four numbers on the screen and let the students read them aloud.</p> <p>学生四人一组比较这四个数字，看哪个小组用到的表示比较的句子多。</p> <p>e.g. 6,300 is the largest number.300 is the smallest number.</p> <p>Then let the students go through the sentences in 2a and make predictions about the blanks.</p> <p>Then play the tape for the first time and number the sentences.</p> <p>Play the tape for the second time and fill in the blanks.</p> <p>Check the answers and let the students read the sentences aloud.</p> <p>Divide the students into groups and two is a pair.
