Ask some students to answer. Then show some other pictures with a clock on them and ask:What was he / she doing at eight last night? Help them to answer:He / She was doing his / her homework. Ask them to practice the sentence pattern as many as possible.</p><p>Step 3 Practice</p><p>1a, Say:There was a rainstorm yesterday. Look at the pictures and tell me: Where was he / she at the time of the rainstorm? Show the pictures and ask some students to answer.</p><p>Step 4 Listening</p><p>1b, Show a short video about a TV report. Then play the recording and ask the students to circle the correct responses. Ask some students to report their answers.</
