What are they? Ask some students to report their opinion. Then ask：What activities do you like to do to help lower your stess? Ask the students to talk about it in groups and then ask some students to report their answers.</p><p>Step 4 Practice</p><p>1a, What activities do you like to do to help lower your stess? Order them [1-8] with 1 being the most favorite thing you do to lower stress. </p><p>1b, Tell your partner about your answers in 1a.</p><p>Step 5 Listening</p><p>1c, Say：As students，we have many problems，such as：We don’t get enough sleep. We don’t have enough free time. We have to compete with our classmates at school. So does Wei Ming. Please listen and check the problems Wei Ming talks about. Play the recording for the students

to listen and check. Then ask some students to report their answers.</p><p>1d, Alice gives Wei Ming some advice. What is it? Listen again and fill in the blanks. Then ask some students to report their answers.</p><p>Step 9 Homework</p><p>Do the exercises in 2c after class. </p><h5>课堂作业</h5><p>假如你是Linda，你的笔友Sally性格比较内向，不善于与人交往，与同学的关系也不太融洽，所以她在学习生活中的压力很大，请你给她写封信，提一些建议。注意：60词左右。</p><h5>教学反思</h5><p>    本节课内容较多，为了保持文章的完整性，把2c猜测词义部分整合为作业，而把2d和2e提到了2c前面，让学生阅读文章后通过这两部分的练习对文章的整体和细节都有了一个很好的把握，能培养学生的阅读理解能力。</p>
